June 1st @ 9pm YASGUR is a Rock, Rhythm & Blues quartet of like minded musicians who enjoy, Blues, Jazz, David Bromberg,and the Grateful Dead. The fellas are from Sullivan County and got together through a jam session at The Dancing Cat Saloon. YASGUR is named in tribute to dairy farmer Max Yasgur who offered his property to hold the famed Woodstock Music & Arts Festival in 1969. The Lighthouse is a band from Kerhonkson NY. They play a mix of jazz, alternative, blues, punk, classic rock, funk and progressive rock, and good old rock and roll. They have been playing together for about a year. They have played at The Chance Theater in Poughkeepsie NY, the Rosendale Theatre, the Rondout Music Lounge, BSP, The High falls Cafe, and the farthest they have played, was at The Room in Connecticut.
